We use a Howard rotovator with shallow tillage for our field operation. In addition we have mounted a hitch on the back of
our rotovator, thereby eliminating one pass in the field and saving fuel and helping the soil with less compaction and less
pollution to the environment.
We have also been doing experimental organic no till by planting Rye in
the fall and and then utilizing a front mounted crimper to crimp the rye and then planting no-till soybeans into the rye
(see picture above)
